Rinosha’s began far from the lights of a big city, in a small shop in a small village, with a simple belief: beauty is more than how you look , it is how you feel, how you carry yourself, and the confidence you take with you.

At the heart of that beginning was Rinosha Begum, BA, PGDE, M.Ed. — founder, owner and beautician of Salon Rinosha’s. What started modestly was built through years of dedication, long days, constant learning and an ambition that was always bigger than the space around her.

There were no shortcuts. Rinosha built her name one client at a time — through trust, attention to detail and the belief that every person who walked through her doors deserved to feel listened to, cared for and beautifully themselves. Those clients became more than customers; they became part of the story. Their trust, recommendations and continued support gave Rinosha’s the confidence to grow beyond its beginnings and eventually make its home in Mawanella.

GROWING WITHOUT LOSING WHO WE ARE

As the years passed, beauty changed — and so did we. New techniques emerged. Technology transformed the industry. Expectations evolved. But while Rinosha’s continued to embrace the modern definition of beauty, health and wellness, one thing remained unchanged: our commitment to quality, expertise and timeless care. For our founder, experience alone was never enough. She believed that true expertise should be supported by education, knowledge and a willingness to continuously learn. Alongside years of hands-on experience, Rinosha has pursued extensive academic and professional education, including an NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Cosmetology and an NVQ Level 5 Higher National Diploma in Cosmetology, in addition to her wider academic qualifications. That combination of knowledge, experience and artistry continues to shape everything we do today.

FROM A SALON TO A HOUSE OF BEAUTY

As our clients grew with us, so did our vision. What began as Salon Rinosha’s expanded into Rinosha’s Flora, bringing the same sense of artistry and detail into floral design and creating beautiful arrangements for weddings and life’s most meaningful occasions.

Today, that journey continues with Rinosha’s Academy — created to pass forward the knowledge, discipline and artistry accumulated over the years. Because to us, beauty culture is not simply a profession. It is a craft, a form of art and a skill worthy of being taught to the next generation.

Our bridal offering has also grown beyond beauty itself. Through partnerships with international manufacturers, we continue to source and introduce exclusive, high-quality bridal gowns, allowing our brides to experience more of their wedding journey under one trusted name. Alongside bridal artistry, our team provides an evolving range of beauty, skin, hair and wellness services — from professional hair care, skincare, manicures and pedicures to modern laser and body treatments — supported by contemporary technology and a highly trained team.

From a small village salon to becoming a trusted name in Mawanella, every chapter of Rinosha’s has been shaped by resilience. There have been challenges, barriers, risks and countless hours of work behind what people see today. But every challenge strengthened the vision that began all those years ago: to build a place where beauty, knowledge, artistry and genuine care could exist together.
